PILATES

Pilates is a method of exercise developed by Joseph Pilates, a German citizen who immigrated to the U.S. in the 1920's. Joseph's guiding philosophy was that achieving good health means the whole being must be addressed body, mind & spirit.

Pilates equipment is designed to condition the entire body, using positions and movements that focus on body alignment & balance. The exercises challenge the deep layers of muscles to achieve optimum movement mechanics. You will notice increased strength, flexibility, coordination, balance and control.
